- Why did you join the AYC?
I was nice and fresh to the Austin scene when stumbled upon AYC and thought it would be a great way to build both my social and business networks. - How did you get to Austin?
I moved from Orlando, FL to San Antonio just over 3 years ago. It was quite simply time for me to move on so packed my bags and left. I chose San Antonio because I had family there but my goal was to be in Austin. I started with IS Systems almost 3 years ago as a sales assistant and when this position opened up, not only was it an opportunity to move to Austin but also an opportunity for me to grow in my career. - What is your favorite lunch spot?
Madam Mams - If you could have any super power what would it be, and what would you use it for?
Invisibility!! I could use it for both good and not so good … - If you could have any celebrity live next door to you who would it be?
Woody Harrelson or Bill Murray, I can’t decide how I’d prefer - What are your top 3 things to do or see in Austin?
Really hard to answer for me still – I love driving closer to Lake Travis with all the scenic hills, Taking my dog to Town Lake for some exercise, and the shops on South Congress are awesome! - If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you?
Town Lake and the Dog Park at Riverside and 35. - When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
I am a business consultant with a focus on IT. - What do you think the best invention is in the past 50 years?
There are much more important inventions but I’m gonna go with Smart Phones - It took me a while to finally get one but now that I do, can’t imagine not having it. - Who was your first Facebook friend?
My mom, she’s the one that got me to get an account - If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
I don’t know, I haven’t been there yet… - How do you give back?
I volunteer with Community in Schools as a Tech Tots Mentor – Select families are provided computers in their home to help further their children’s education and learning. My job is to go to their homes to help them learn both the computer and the educational programs available.
