2018 FAVE Nominations Open in One Week!
It’s your FAVE time of year! Nominations for our annual FAVE (Favorite Austin Venture or Enterprise) Awards open Monday, June 18th! We are looking to you to help honor the local ventures and enterprises that do an amazing job catering to our young professional community. About FAVE
The FAVE Awards started in 2010 as an Austin Young Chamber fundraiser and our opportunity to honor the local business community that helps empower and nurture Austin’s young professionals. The event brings together more than 350 AYC members and business leaders for an upscale evening including a cocktail reception, three course meal, awards presentation, silent auction, and after party.
Why You Should Nominate
We have 16 categories (listed below) that exemplify the types of businesses we want to honor. The Austin young professional community makes up just over 35% of the city’s population according to the US Census Bureau. Austin’s young professionals have a voice and purchasing power in our community and we want you to be able to honor the businesses that do an amazing job of catering to you! The FAVE Awards is your chance to do just that!
Who Nominates
Whether you are an Austin Young Chamber member, business owner, or just love Austin and our community – we want you to nominate your FAVE’s. Nominations are open to the general public and limited to one nomination form per person. The five businesses with the most nominations in each category will make it to the final ballot…so it’s time to rally the troops to make sure your FAVE makes it the top!

A business that focuses on others through philanthropy or community service

A local organization for YPs to give time, talent or treasure
FAVE Place to Grow Professionally
A program or company to help YPs develop skills, collaborate, or grow in their careers
FAVE Place to Grow Personally
A place or company for YPs to build their lives – i.e. mortgage, insurance, real estate, banking, finance. #adulting
FAVE Small Business
A local and independently-operated enterprise with fewer than 50 employees that speaks to the YP community
FAVE Place to Keep Austin Healthy
A company or institution that YPs can access to improve their health or wellbeing
FAVE Innovative Company
A cutting-edge, progressive company that engages or benefits the YP community
