How did you get to Austin?
Having never spent much time in Austin, I moved here as soon as I was offered a position with AMD.

Why did you join the AYC?
I joined to meet young professionals and build personal friendships.

What is your favorite lunch spot?
Whenever I have a desire to take a “quick trip to Europe”, I head to Café Crepe on Second and San Jacinto.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and what would you use it for?
I would wish for the power of teleportation. As much as I enjoy people watching at the airport, it would be nice to cut down travel time.

If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
Warren Buffett

What are your top 3 things to do/see in Austin?
Whenever people come to visit me, I always take them to Zilker and Town Lake for sand volleyball and water activities, the shops on South Congress, and finish with a quick walk around downtown at the weekend, open-air market.

If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you?
I have never played hooky before but most of my vacations I spend outside of Texas so you’d probably find me in the mountains, on the beach, or in another country.

When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
“I’m a financial analyst for AMD.”

What do you think is the best invention in the past 50 years?
The internet because it provides almost instantaneous information.

Who was your first Facebook friend?
I have no idea, but I do remember joining as soon as I had a “.edu” email address.

If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
If I could live anywhere for two years, I’d really enjoy living abroad but I’d ultimately want to end up somewhere in Texas.
