Congratulations to Austin Fast Start Creatives Pitch Winner – G180 LLC!

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Young Chamber, in partnership with the City of Austin’s Economic Development Department, congratulates G180, LLC, winner of the Austin Fast Start pitch competition that took place in-person on Monday, July 18th at Capital Factory.

G180, LLC is a swimwear brand built around their core product which is a reinvented personal flotation device. Their goal is to make PFD’s apart of everyday swimwear attire and one day eliminate drowning deaths as a statistic.

“I’m super honored to have won the Fast Start Pitch Competition hosted by the Austin Young Chamber. This is only the start of G180 making waves. I couldn’t be prouder of the products, and I’m humbled by the judges and audience members’ response to them. G180, LLC has one soul purpose – that’s to eliminate drowning death and last night was evidence that we’ve got what it takes! We are going to use these resources and support from vcfo, Capital Factory, the City of Austin’s Small Business Program and the Austin Young Chamber to finish the production of the Perfect Ten Flotation Device and start the testing and rating process through the UL and US Coast Guard agencies,” says Carolyn Nash, Owner and CEO of G180, LLC.
