      1. What brought you to Austin and how long have you been here?
I moved to Austin in June 2015 from Boston. I’m originally from Atlanta and after 6 years in the New England cold, I just couldn’t handle it anymore! I came down for a visit and was here to stay two months later!
      2. How did you get connected to AYC?
I worked in the University Park WeWork (where the AYC office was) and got to know the organization through meeting the staff and attending events there!
      3. What are you involved with in AYC AND what is your favorite part of AYC?
I’m mainly involved with the Casino Social, although am excited to join other committees, and my favorite part of AYC is learning about all the incredible things going on in Austin and meeting other hip & cool young professionals!
      4. Where can we find you brunching in Austin on any given Saturday?
I’ve recently discovered the joys of hosting my own brunch (happy to share my breakfast casserole recipe), but if I go out, I love Tiny Boxwoods! Their BLT is incredible and they have the best chocolate chip cookies.
      5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
I would want to fly and I would use it to travel the world / avoid traffic.
      6. If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
        Oprah, hands down.
      7. If you had guests visiting Austin for the weekend, where is the first place you would take them to show them a good time?
I think the Hike and Bike Trail around Lady Bird Lake is such a special part of Austin, so I would first take them to Thunderbird Cafe to grab an oat milk latte for fuel, then head to the trail.
      8. If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you and what would you be doing?
For at least part of the day, I would be on my couch with my dog Penelope catching up on all the shows I’ve been meaning to watch! But afterward, my dream is to do a taco crawl of the city – picking one type of taco and trying to find the absolute best version in Austin!
      9. When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
I just recently made a career change, so I’m excited to tell people that I work to build and deepen OutboundEngine customer relationships.
      10. What technology could you not live without?
I do really love my Amazon Alexa… It’s amazing when I walk into my apartment and say ‘Echo, I’m home!”- the lights all turn on and my favorite playlist starts up. I’m always reminded of the Disney Channel original movie Smart House!
      11. Who inspires you?
So many people! I really admire my mom’s ability to stay positive in any situation, as well as her commitment to silliness, no matter her chronological age!
      12. What is your proudest accomplishment?
Teaching my dog to dance on command!
      13. If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
In the summer and fall, I’d ideally like to live in Maine– but I’d hightail it out of there after the 2nd or 3rd snowstorm! But I also would love to live near my family in Atlanta.
      14. I want to learn how to…?
Bake a really amazing pie crust!
      15. Pick:
        Soup or Salad?
Salad. Butter lettuce with dijon vinaigrette, preferably
        Indoors or Outdoors?
        Outdoors!
        Winter or Summer?
Summer — I live in Austin!
        Tea or Coffee?
        COFFEE… completely addicted…
        Mountains or Beach?
Both!! But I do love the beach…
      16. Favorite Drink?
Cold brew with almond milk and vanilla syrup
