Get AYCF Off the Ground During Amplify
What happens when young leaders rally together to make an impact in our community? What would it look like when we look beyond organizational borders?
The Austin Young Chamber of Commerce (AYC) was created to focus on its members, to help them achieve success. But in more recent years, AYC has also made it a priority to establish a broad, independent organization to focus on big questions that impact our larger community.
That is why the Austin Young Chamber Foundation (AYCF), a separate non-profit, was created. This structure is commonly referred to as a sister organization because it is related but independent. An independent board, funding, and mission.
The association is working to give AYCF the funding and support it needs to be successful in 2016 and beyond. Will you chip in and help us amplify our impact?
At the State of AYC, the association joined the leaders of our sister organization to share our vision for 2016 and beyond. While membership dues will continue to help create and sustain programs for AYC members and prospective members, the newly created AYC Foundation needs your support today.
Will you “set it and forget it” by donating through Amplify Austin and help us raise $5,000 to get AYCF off the ground?
A donation of any size will make a big difference to ensure that our sister group is able to create the infrastructure and systems that will help all young professionals in Austin. Pledge your donation now, forget about it during the busy 24 hours of Amplify Austin, and join us March 8th to celebrate this initiative.
If you are one of the first 40 individual donors to give $250 or companies to give $500, AYCF will list you in perpetuity as a member of The Founding 40 donor circle. There are less than 20 spots left so make your donation today!
TOMORROW – Amplify Austin Happy Hour
The Austin Young Chamber Foundation (AYCF) formally launched at the State of AYC. Join us as we share the background and support our separate, sister organization to give them the resources they need to successfully plan and build for 2016 and beyond.
