Mel Martin is the President and CEO of the Austin Young Chamber. She brings over a decade of experience in marketing, events, and operations across the nonprofit and financial sectors.
As President and CEO at the Austin Young Chamber, Mel cultivates member and sponsor relationships, leads strategic planning and communications with the Board of Directors, and is dedicated to creating high-quality, relevant programming for the young professional workforce.
Mel previously led marketing and event strategy for the Austin Young Chamber, producing 50+ annual programs focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic engagement. Raised by public school teachers in Northwest Indiana, Mel holds a degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University and has called Austin home since 2014.
