Ty is the Development Director for the American Heart Association in Austin, where he spearheads the Austin Heart Ball campaign focused on addressing nutrition security in Central Texas. With a decade of experience in various health-centered non-profits dedicated to fostering healthier communities, Ty brings valuable expertise to his role. He holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from the University of North Texas.

Since 2018, Ty has been an active member of the Austin Young Chamber, initially serving on the Casino Social Committee for four years before assuming the role of Chair in 2023.

Ty lives in North Austin with his partner, Marcos, along with their two dogs and cat. He loves running and exploring new coffee shops and breakfast taco spots with friends.
