Austin New Leaders Academy Organized by AYC and YNPN

This is the third session of a 12-part Workshop Series organized by AYC and YNPN.
Elevator speeches, we’ve all heard of them and how important they are, but when those doors open, we find oursleves at a loss for words. Don’t let that happen the next time you have an opportunity for a pitch.
Attend this session by Stacy Armijo of Pierpont Communications where you will: (1) Learn to craft an elevator speech that gets to the point quickly and professionally; (2) Discover techniques that contribute to a polished delivery; and (3) have opportunities for live practive and critique.

AYC Let’s Talk: A New Way To Network Presented by Baylor Executive MBA

KidStrong 2015

Location: Dell Children’s Medical Center, 4900 Mueller Blvd.
The Austin Young Chamber’s Leadership Service Committee is partnering together again for this years 2015 KidStrong event at Dell Children’s Hospital. KidStrong is an event produced in conjunction with Dell Children’s Medical Center to provice children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses temporary relief from their day to day struggles. The event is held at the hospital in their auditorium and is an afternoon of fun games, experiences and activities for the children and their families. On our agenda this year is face painting, a photo booth, arts and crafts, a bike race, to name a few. In addition to the activities we also provide food and beverage for everyone in attendance and gifts for the children.

Picture Parties – Professional Headshot Social

Come get your professional headshot taken with us on Monday, August 24th at the W Hotel in their Record Room! We can do an “Austin-like” background with the old-fashioned records behind you or do a black backdrop for you. After the session, you will receive a link to downloaad the images that you will own!
Picture Parties is more than a party, it’s a photo session! We are your go-to, on-location photographers, providing the perfect occasion to host family pictures, professional head shots, family reunions, senior pictures, anniversary celebrations and more! In addition to throwing Picture Parties, we empower photographers to focus on what they love – taking pictures – while we handle the editing, printing, shipping and other stressful, but necessary, parts of running a small photography business.

Ronald McDonald House Dinner Volunteer Event

AYC New Member Coffee & Networking

AYC Speaker Series is a monthly event featuring local leaders, entrepreneurs, and trail blazers. The event begins with soft networking then moves to the speaker presentation with Q&A. Lunch is also provided.

If you’re interested in becoming more involved with AYC, check out the Leadership Service Committee. The LSC gives AYC members the opportunity to give back to the community throughout the year through service. This committee meets monthly and does additional community service events for AYC members. Imagine Committee

The Imagine Committee connects AYC members with the Austin arts and culture scene. This committee meets monthly and hosts/coordinates a variety of events throughout the year.
