Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin's mission to provide accessible professional development opportunities that empower young leaders and advance the nonprofit community.

We are a local community of nonprofit staffers, volunteers, board members, and philanthropists. We promote the professional development of passionate new leaders by hosting a variety of professional development events, networking opportunities, and monthly email digests that include nonprofit jobs, news, and events. We use our nonprofit leadership-approved competency model to guide all of our professional development and educational programming.

Membership Details

In general, most members of YNPN Austin are in their 20's and 30's, but there are no age restrictions. Most members do have nonprofit jobs, but we also welcome students, people considering a nonprofit career, people who provide services to or work closely with nonprofits, and others. We offer both individual and organizational membership options.

Membership is valid for one calendar year, for both individuals and organizations.

Events, Programs, and Meetings

YNPN offers an array of signature programming events specifically crafted to fit the needs of Austin's nonprofit professionals. These include panels with industry experts, behind-the-scenes tours of well-known nonprofits, and networking with executives.

Leadership Opportunities

The YNPN Austin Board strives to be accessible, flexible, and inclusive of everyone. Board Positions vary in time commitment from 5 - 15 hours per month dependent on the level of position. Committee service is also a great way to get involved and help shape the organization.
