Hill Country Conservancy
Emerging Professionals in Conservation (EPIC)
Hill Country Conservancy preserves vital natural resources through conservation, community collaboration and engagement to sustain our region now and forever.
Hill Country Conservancy protects large strategic tracts of open space that conserve critical water features and wildlife habitat, provides much needed recreational access to nature via the Violet Crown Trail, and promotes a conservation ethic by cultivating awareness and transforming our community.
Emerging Professionals in Conservation (EPIC) is an outdoors club dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country through adventures, educational events, volunteerism, and philanthropy. Activities include camping trips, nature hikes, kayaking, ranch tours, educational happy hours, Violet Crown Trail cleanups, and more. EPIC is a network of professionals who care about keeping Austin green, love having fun in nature, and are champions for conservation.
EPIC Member: Invitation to reserve FREE spot at all formal EPIC Member experience activities such as camping, spelunking, kayaking and more. Invitation to all informal EPIC events, such as happy hours, outreach events, and Violet Crown Trail volunteer cleanups
Monthly activities include: camping trips, nature hikes, kayaking, ranch tours, educational happy hours with inspiring speakers, Violet Crown Trail cleanups, and more.
EPIC members can apply to join the EPIC Leadership Council which is a group of members that help plan and lead events, recruit and welcome new members, market EPIC events on social media, and assist with Hill Country Conservancy outreach and fundraising.
