QWELL Community Foundation

Pride Scouts

Pride Scouts is a new youth-led program for LGBTQIA+ and Ally teens + young adults to make meaningful contributions to QWELL’s work to create an LGBTQIA+ culture of health and self-actualization in Greater Austin.

Membership Details

Young people in the Greater Austin area, aged 18 to 24 and identifies or allies with the LGBTQIA+ or BIPOC community (pop.).

Membership Terms: Jan. 29th - July 1st (approx. six months) with a 6-8 hour commitment per month including bi-weekly meetings, outreach initiatives and events.

Events, Programs, and Meetings

Bi-weekly meetings will be held to discuss media, marketing and communications for Pride Scouts and our programs and recruiting more Pride Scouts to join.

Leadership Opportunities

All Pride Scouts will serve the LGBTQIA+ Austin Metropolitan Area as leaders by demonstrating commitment, passion and unity for cause and assist in the planning and programming of QWELL’s “Pride in Your Neighborhood” events for June 2022.
