- What brought you to Austin and how long have you been here?
I moved to Austin for work. I’ve been at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic (Circle C) for 2 years now and have really enjoyed it! - How did you get connected to AYC?
When I moved to Austin, I was looking for ways to connect with other young professionals. AYC volunteered one weekend for It’s My Park Day (park cleanup). It was there that I was able to meet people who were on the Leadership Service Committee and I wanted to get more involved right away. It’s always great to connect with others who want to give back to the community. - What are you involved with in AYC AND what is your favorite part of AYC?
I’m currently in Leadership Service Committee. I love being able to connect with other like minded young professionals who want to develop themselves personally and professionally. I love all the events that AYC puts on, from Casino Social to all of Imagine Committee’s events to Happy Hours/Coffee Connect, there is definitely something for everyone. - Where can we find you brunching in Austin on any given Saturday?
Sawyer & Co or Kerbey Lane - If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
Super Speed—could get so much work done AND beat traffic - If you could have any celebrity live next door to you, who would it be?
Serena Williams - If you had guests visiting Austin for the weekend, where is the first place you would take them to show them a good time?
I’d take them to SoCo and 2nd Street District! I love shopping and those bustling areas have a very cool vibe! - If you played hooky for a day, where would we find you and what would you be doing?
Probably reading at Central Library (Downtown), shopping at the Domain, or catching a movie at Alamo Drafthouse…maybe all three! - When people ask you what you do for a living, what do you tell them?
I tell them that I’m a physician that takes care of the whole family, and I love what I do! - What technology could you not live without?
My iPhone - Who inspires you?
My parents, who have worked so hard their entire lives. They are the best parents in the world to my siblings and me. - What is your proudest accomplishment?
Completing Residency training and becoming a Board Certified Family Medicine physician. It was a long road, but so worth it. - If you couldn’t live in Austin, where would you want to live?
