American Society of Civil Engineers

Younger Member Forum (YMF) Austin Branch

Target Audience for Membership

A YMF member is any member of ASCE Austin Branch, regardless of membership grade, who has not reached their 36th birthday. We are here to help you get plugged in to the civil engineering community and develop into a future leader of our industry. We focus our energy on discovering great ways for young engineers (and engineers that are young at heart) to grow their network and gain leadership experience.

The Austin Area Urban League Young Professionals (AAULYP) is a service auxiliary to the Austin Area Urban League. We support the mission of our host affiliate by providing opportunities for young professionals to get involved in a national movement.

Connect. Lead. Serve. The Young Men's Business League builds today's young professionals into tomorrow's leaders by creating connections, fostering leadership development, and serving its chief philanthropic endeavor, the Austin Sunshine Camps.

YMBL is open to men between the ages of 22-45 who are ready to give back to the Austin community and meet the following minimum annual requirements: raise at least $500 to send one kid to the Austin Sunshine Camps; volunteer at four Austin Sunshine Camp events during the summer; volunteer and participate in the YMBL events; pay renewal dues of $300; and submit and pass a background check.
