FAVE Company Culture – A company with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; employee development; and creating a rewarding and safe work atmosphere for all employees.
FAVE Eco-Friendly Company – A company that is dedicated to minimizing waste, going green, is fair trade certified, and/or utilizing sustainable materials and practices as part of their day-to-day operations.
FAVE Go-To Spot – A business that locals know for dining, drinks, relaxation, retail therapy, or other entertainment that welcomes guests to their doors time and time again.
FAVE Innovative Company – A business with a proven track record of leveraging talent, creative problem-solving, and collaboration to move their industry or business forward.
FAVE Legendary Austin Brand – Whether a business is new or has been around for decades, this e-commerce, service, or brick-and-mortar brand, based in the Greater Austin Area, is known regionally/nationally/globally.
FAVE Local Nonprofit – A nonprofit organization whose mission is making a difference addressing a critical issue in the Greater Austin community. For example, the Austin Young Chamber defines these critical issues as affordability, education, homelessness, transportation, and workforce development.
FAVE Local Source for Info – A news outlet, influencer, or other media channel for the Greater Austin area with a reputation for creating and delivering engaging, dependable content.
FAVE Small Business – A local or independently operated business with fewer than 100 employees.
FAVE Way to Keep Austin Healthy – A company or brand that contributes to Austin’s mental, financial, or physical health.
FAVE YP-Led Business – A local company with a young professional (YP) currently in a top management role (CEO, Founder, COO, etc.). The YP in a top management role for the nominated company must be 40 or under as of December 31, 2022.
FAVE ChangeMaker – A young professional (YP) who is a ripple-starter, thought-leader, do-er, ChangeMaker. This person identifies the need for change and through their efforts, creates innovative solutions to business and community challenges while inspiring others to do the same. Nominees for this award must be 40 or under as of December 31, 2022.
